Christian, are you prepared to survive the Great Tribulation?

 "The world is as it is because it has rebelled against God and men and women are in their present trouble and distress because they are rebels and because they are reaping the fruits of their own evil deeds, and God is pouring His punishment down upon them." (The Kingdom of God, Martyn Lloyd-Jones) In this country rebellion against God has reached a level never seen before in Christian history. In the past twenty years I have personally witnessed an unholy exchange in America, which has deeply grieved me as a follower of Christ. A large part of humanity has rejected God as their Divine Creator. Everywhere you look God’s sovereignty has been exchanged for the fatalism of Mother Nature. The dependence on God has been exchanged for self-help. The sufficiency of God has been exchanged for counseling from the professional psychologist, which is the new world religion in disguise.(1)  Faith in God as the Divine Healer has been exchanged for dependence on drugs and the medical practitioner, who sanctions the intervention of psychology.(2)  The absolute truth from God has been exchanged for tolerance - a clear agenda for the "Global City of man". The only way to God has been exchanged for religious pluralism.(3)  Dying to self has been exchanged for increasing your self-esteem - a major doctrine of psychology.(4) Obedience to God has been exchanged for lawlessness. A heterosexual relationship has been exchanged for same sex marriage.(5)  And God’s structure for the home has been exchanged for social intervention, and its perverted teachings of psychology.(6)  The world has tragically exchanged the Word of God for a lie.  (See Footnotes)

When the Church also follows this same path of unchecked rebellion against God she becomes the lukewarm church spoken of in the book of Revelation. Her witness to a dying world will all but cease. No more revivals, no more saw dust trails, and fewer crusades have weakened the church. Watered down preaching and the introduction of secular psychology has lessened the effectiveness of gospel preaching. And as the world slips deeper into the abyss of gross immorality with the church not far behind, the modern day prophets are proclaiming that all is well and the church can expect a secret rapture to deliver them from this evil world. But what does God say? Will God really deliver the lukewarm church prior to the Great Tribulation or will He allow her to go through the Great Tribulation to strengthen her faith and cleanse her of all unrighteousness? "God uses trials and tribulations in the believer's life to remove the barnacles of the old sin nature... He uses the powerful storms of life to strengthen your faith and dependence on Him. Only a lukewarm church that has been essentially free from persecution will fabricate the secret rapture to whisk them away in the knick of time to escape the Great Tribulation." (Final Warning, Daniel W. Blair)  Great trials and tribulations have always been the seeds of the church. Why would God expect anything less in the last days? When Christ returns in magnificent glory to punish those who are disturbing you and to rapture His Church at the end of the age, will you be ready?

Great book! This book is truly unique from any others I have read. Most deal specifically with end time events, but in this "little book" (pgs 214), as the author Rev. Daniel Blair calls it, is about being prepared spiritually for the Great Tribulation. Some people are stocking up goods to carry them through the Great Tribulation. This book was written to help you be an overcomer spiritually during this time. Is your heart ready for what is to come? Not sure? Today you see hundreds of new books about the coming apocalypse. These books are incredibly popular because we all know in our heart the end is near. Now are you ready for the shocking truth? Rev. Blair's book is not recommended to the one who has hardened his heart to God. I do recommend Final Warning to any God fearing Christian that is ready for the truth about God's plan for our future. After reading Rev. Blair's book, Final Warning, you will realize this truth and recognize how oblivious we are to the evil influence that has infiltrated our culture, blinded us to the truth, and hardened our hearts toward God.

Blair’s book Final Warning and the theme of Last Times brought images of just another book on Eschatology filled with wild schemes and unbelievable scenarios. What I got was an easy read that is written from a Post-Tribulation position. Blair is writing with the conviction that we are now in the midst of the Great Tribulation. With that as his premise his Final Warning is a call to live our lives in such a way to glorify the Father. This is it, the Final Warning. No matter where you fall in the end times debate, we can all handle some encouragement to stand firm in anticipation of Christ’ coming.

This is a powerful book, and not necessarily one to be given to a non-believer. It is written to get a (pew packer, Sunday Christian) you know who I’m talking about. It might just be you, on the right spiritual track. You’d better buckle up, put those tray tables in their up-right positions, and turn those electronic gadgets off, because Daniel is getting ready to rocket your faith to another level.
